Hi, I’m Julia Schofield, a therapist and co-founder of Sol & Soma Collective. I work with adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, ADHD, self-esteem, life transitions, and patterns that feel difficult to shift.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy should offer both insight and practical support — a space where you can better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and develop tools to move through life with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust. I strive to offer a culturally responsive and affirming space where clients’ identities, lived experiences, and values are respected and thoughtfully held.
I draw from approaches including EMDR, somatic therapy, IFS/parts work, CBT, DBT, and attachment-based therapy. In our work together, we may explore how past experiences, nervous system responses, relationships, and protective patterns are shaping the way you feel and respond in the present.
I aim to create a space that feels grounded, compassionate, and real. My hope is that therapy helps you feel less alone in what you’re carrying, more connected to your own needs and values, peace and contentment, and more able to create meaningful change in your life.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy music, travel, reading, being near the water, spending time with friends and my two cats, and enthusiastically losing at pub trivia. I’m drawn to creativity, design, humor, curiosity, and the small everyday moments of connection that help life feel more meaningful.

Services
-
Individual therapy offers a supportive space to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and build tools for navigating life with more clarity and steadiness. I work with clients around anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship patterns, life transitions, self-worth, emotional regulation, and nervous system overwhelm.
-
Couples therapy supports partners in strengthening communication, understanding patterns of conflict or disconnection, and rebuilding emotional safety. Drawing from attachment-based, emotionally focused, and Gottman-informed approaches, I help couples identify reactive cycles, improve communication, repair trust, and develop more supportive ways of responding to one another.
-
Family therapy provides a space for family members to better understand one another, improve communication, and shift patterns that may be contributing to conflict or emotional distance. This work can support families navigating transitions, relational strain, boundaries, stress, grief, or changing family roles.
-
Executive functioning coaching helps clients develop practical tools for organization, time management, planning, follow-through, prioritization, and emotional regulation. This service may be especially supportive for individuals with ADHD, overwhelm, burnout, or difficulty creating structure that feels realistic and sustainable.
-
Therapeutic design consultation supports clients in creating home or work environments that better align with their nervous system, routines, emotional needs, and values. Offered in-home or virtually, this service may focus on reducing overwhelm, improving flow and functionality, supporting sensory needs, and creating spaces that feel more grounding and restorative.
-
Supervision and consultation offer a reflective space for clinicians seeking support with case conceptualization, therapeutic presence, clinical decision-making, boundaries, documentation, private practice development, licensure hours (IL) or integrating trauma-informed and somatic approaches into their work. My style is collaborative, grounded, and focused on helping clinicians feel more confident, clear, and supported.
